Xbox 360 3 Red Light Repair When Your Power Supply Light Is Red

without comments

by Ryse Edwards

As with any game console, the Xbox 360 is prone to problems and errors. Something many gamers fear is the three red lights. This occurs when three lights flash red on the Ring of Light on the front of your Xbox 360 console. In this instance, the upper-right quadrant light is the only light that does not flash red. Here is some information on Xbox 360 3 red light repair when your power supply light is showing red.

There will be times when the light on your Xbox 360’s power supply turns red or completely turns off. You can identify this when the power supply light changes from green to orange to red while you are using your system. There are a number of different reasons why this may occur, but it occurs when the external power supply has detected a fault.

The power supply itself has more than a few safeguards that will keep harm from coming to your system. The power supply even turns it off when it recognizes that there is too much voltage or the temperature is just too high. In this case the lights will turn red or the system will turn off. In the worst case the system will freeze and not even give you an error code.

There are a few different things that you can try to fix your system. First of all you need to see what temperature the power supply is currently at, if it is not cool there is a problem and the red light may have been an indicator to that fact. If that is the case then put your power supply in a nice well ventilated space and turn off your system. When it has cooled sufficiently then you can turn the system back on. If all went well, then the lights will turn orange and you will be able to switch your console on once again.

You may find that the Xbox 360 is not getting the voltage that it needs. This can be so if you have plugged into a surge protector or an extension cord. If this is the case, then you should be able to plug it directly into the wall and see if it works. There is also an error system built into the red ring itself that you can use if anything goes wrong.

The last red light repair technique is to try using a different power cord and power supply unit. If you do have another power cord and supply unit, try testing your console with this. If the console does not turn on, the issue is the console itself. If none of the three Xbox 3 red light repair methods listed in this article work, you are going to have to pony up the dough to get your system fixed.

Want New PSP Games? Here’s The Easy Way To Find PSP Downloads!

without comments

by Dave Freeman

If you have a PSP, you almost certainly have heard that there are ways to download PSP games, movies and other files for your device. This can be a great way to keep your PSP filled with all the latest games, which will keep you endlessly entertained. So if you’re one of these many PSP owners, then you will probably be asking, as have so many others “How do I download PSP games?”.

You have a few options to download psp games - some are risky and others are not. Let’s take a closer look at what I mean.

You will probably run across a few website that offer “free” PSP game downloads. However, the old saying “you get what you pay for” comes to mind here! Since you aren’t paying a dime, these websites have all sorts of problems associated with them. In fact, several have been shut down in recent months for distributing viruses, spyware and other infections.

Run with no money behind them, and no profit motive driving the owners to make things safe and useful for visitors, these sites are a veritable minefield for your computer. Spyware and viruses aside, these sites allow anyone to upload files, meaning that free PSP game download could well be another file entirely, or a corrupt, unplayable file. The unbelievably slow download speeds on these sites mean that you could waste a lot of time finding this out as well.

We here, as you may have guessed are not all that fond of these websites. You’d really be better off avoiding these sites entirely.

The best choice for PSP owners looking to download PSP games are the membership sites. These sites are usually not too expensive to join, and offer playable, virus and spyware free files for the enjoyment of their users. They take the time and effort to test files, since their users are their customers. These sites are generally reputable business operations, and definitely a better bet than any of the “free” sites.

It is amazing that not more PSP users are aware of these websites. The fees are generally less than the cost of a single new PSP game, and allow members to download any file provided by the site, any time the user wants. Some sites even give members the software they need to transfer their downloads to a PSP

The best values are the sites which just charge a one time fee for a lifetime membership. Somewhere between $30 and $50 will get you one of these memberships. Other sites have monthly fees, or even per-downloads, but these pale in comparison to being able to download any PSP game, movie or music file you want any time of day or night.

One of the best features of the PSP is the ability to download games, movies and music instead of having to but them at the stores. Not only will it save you a lot of money in the long-run, but you will als be sure your PSP is fully stocked with the newest games without ever having to make a trip to the store. Happy gaming!

Where To Find A Cheap PlayStation 3

without comments

by Paul De Vizard

The very successful Sony PlayStation 3 has been available to buyers since late 2006. It has developed somewhat of a dedicated “cult type” following which tends to attract buyers who are happy to wait outside shops for new models and even some of the newer games.

The demand for the PlayStation 3 exceeds the supply. The challenge to find a reasonably priced PlayStation 3, may mean you being in the right place at the right time.

Here are some ideas:

Places to find A Cheap PlayStation 3

Because of its popularity, retail shops are unlikely to give the best bargains while to demand is high. While they are most reliable, with any technical problems you might have, if you are willing to assume some risk, you can find a cheaper PlayStation 3 in other locations.

In the Local newspapers

If a console gamer is short of money, low cost ads in small, local newspapers might be a good place to find a bargain. You can get some very good deals if the person has bought many of the high priced games that are available, but needs the cash for something else more important, like in the case of rent or car accident.

Always ask what the reason is for selling is.

Online Auction sites

Some people simply began to buy the PlayStation 3 without any intention of using them. These people then began to resell their PlayStation 3s on eBay and at other online auction sites.

What this means is that if are good at negotiating deals, you could use this marketplace to pick up a bargain. Also if you search for misspellings of playstation3 you could find a goldmine, in a missed auctions.

Craigslist

One good option is to look for one on Craigslist. Local sellers generally will give you an option to buy the PlayStation 3 without your having to play higher prices.

The bottom line is that you must never spend more than you can risk. Buying any product from these areas, has an element of risk involved. If you feel that the price “too much of a deal” for what a cheap PlayStation 3 should cost you then simply look for a different one. In buying any pre-loved product, and especially the games, be sure and test it out thoroughly and ask for a receipt of payment amoun

The Terminator Franchise

without comments

by Patrick Daniels

The next chapter in The Terminator story is almost here. With less then a month away, I can feel the excitement. At this time, I thought, it might be a good idea to review the first three movies in the series.

The first movie in the saga was called The Terminator. This movie, released in 1984 was like nothing else with it’s special effects and time travel story. It became a blockbuster hit, almost immediately. After the success they decided to film and release two, now three, sequels. The original Terminator was initially released on VHS, then years later on DVD with minimal bonus features. They later re-released the DVD as a special addition.

T2: Judgment Day was released into theatres in 1991. It became an immediate success breaking box office records and becoming the summers biggest movie, surpassing the original from 1984. T2 kept all the was good from the first movie and expanded it to make an even better one.

In T2 Arnold is still a Terminator, but as John Connor’s guardian. When the rumors came out I couldn’t believe it, they had changed what everyone was expecting. However, the special effects far surpassed the first movie and the things we saw were unlike anything seen before. It was a technological breakthrough and has become standard practice since. The DVD, packaged in a metallic collector’s sleeve, was full of history and special features, that we have now come to expect.

Rise of The Machines was released ten years after the first movie. By Terminators standards, it was thought to be a flop, but with around $400 million is ticket sales, it would have been considered a huge success for any other franchise. Packed with extras and just as good as the first two releases the DVD came out soon after the movie release. There is sure to be a special Blu-ray version of the first three movies and will be even great to see in high definition.

Hopefully, the glory to the franchise can be renewed through this new movie coming out next month.

Get More Out of Your PSP

without comments

by Jamie Misiewicz

Downloading a game to your PSP is very easy once you get the hang of it. There are free and commercial games and PSP downloads that you can download online with the same format as the UMD version. When you download multiple games, make sure you have a large capacity memory stick to handle the games files.

Most PSP download stations have copies of the game as soon as they are available on the market. The most anticipated PSP game titles for 2009 are Star Ocean: Second Evolution, Phantasy Star Portable, Dissidia Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, Parasite Eve: The 3rd Birthday and Final Fantasy 13. Most of the anticipated PSP downloads are RPGs which will definitely excite hardcore gamers.

Although the PSP is a full feature gaming console, it also has the power and the interface to become a very good podcast player. With downloadable software, you can easily organize your favorite podcast shows and synchronize them to your PSP. You can also listen to streaming podcast if you have your Wi-Fi network on.

You can turn your PSP into a musical library so that you can have a music player and gaming console in one. If you have MP3 files you can easily copy them from your computer to your PSP, or you can download mp3 files from the Internet. PSP can only play audio files in MP3 format, so if you have a collection other than MP3, you can use Sony Image Converter or any other programs to convert to MP3 format.

PSP is a great portable media player because of its ample storage capacity, great sounds, and large and sharp display. With a good headset, you can have a portable digital media experience with your PSP. You can download videos from YouTube and use quick convert software to play video files in PSP.

Many PSP players are always looking for the latest PSP themes to personalize their experience. Free and Premium PSP themes are available online. Most of the time, these theme completely changes the interface including wallpapers, icons and sounds.

Wallpapers can change the look of your PSP completely. For many gamers, wallpapers brand their PSP based on their preference and personality. You can download thousands of PSP resolution backgrounds, or you can get a desktop PC background and resize them to make it look better in the PSP.

PSP also hosts a bunch of productive apps like a PDF reader, RSS reader, or a comic reader. These readers are perfect for people who love reading books while on the go. You can download an eBook and load them to the PDF reader instead of bringing thick books to read during commute.

There are many Internet browsers that you can use to take advantage of your PSP’s Wi-Fi connection. The most popular browser is the native PSP web browser. You can also download other browsers if the local browser does not fit your needs. The best PSP browser is the Opera mini. Opera mini can handle and render pages quickly. It also has great navigation controls perfect for mobile use.

The most popular type of utility software for PSP is video converters. These converters make it easier for the user to watch videos in the PSP without hassle. File recovery tools, image browsers, photo restoration tools, and wireless connection managers are all important programs needed to maintain your PSP.

How do I know if I am addicted to Wii?

without comments

by Persipidus

Many will say you cannot become physically addicted to Wii. However with the current trends this has become phenomonon that is striking with over 3.2 mollion Wiis sold. What signs point to a possible addiction?

Even though the addiction may not be caused by a chemical imbalance, there are factors that may hint toward an addiction. Lets take a look at some of these symptoms.

Lets say you go to the store to pick a up few things, the next thing you know you are driving your car through the parking lot like you are in a Mario Brothers cart. When the police pull you over the only excuse you have is that you just hit your high score.

Another symptom might be you get trigger finger and have to have surgery to release it. Ouch. Or you pick up your steak knife at dinner and try to sleigh the dragons flying overhead.

How about when you go bowling with friends and you can’t actually get the ball down the lane because you are used to the wii and bowling from your living room. Even worse, when actually bowl more than a 200 at a bowling alley after you have only bowled one other time in your life.

What are your symptoms? Is it insomnia, loss of appetite? Or is the fact you haven’t left the house in a month?

Ride the Wii trend and enjoy. In my opinion this is a great way to have fitness and bonding amongst family and friends. The Wii allows for true enjoyment for the family and provides a physical as well as mental work out. Happy gaming!

MUst Have Wii Accessories

without comments

by Patrick G. Moore

Wii is the new sensation in the world of gaming where once it was dominated by Play Station or Xbox. Now you can say goodbye to those and say hello to Nintendo Wii. Nintendo Wii is probably the best game console one can have. While the price might be too much but considering the fact that Wii is the one game console you need to make your life complete so what’s the problem with $250 for a life time entertainment?

Now, let us look at the wonderful Wii collection of accessories that is to enhance your gaming experience. While these accessories come separately, these are optional not necessary to have all, even though most of these will satisfy your gaming addiction.

If you hate to pack your Wii in a messy way, try Wii Organizer for a better packaging for Wii especially if you are bringing your Wii along when you are on a holiday or going back to your parent’s house. Otherwise, use it at home for better positioning and avoid anything missing.

Wii USB Charger Station is necessary for those who want to have freedom from using batteries. First of all, batteries are harmful to us and to the nature, so why not get charger to charge your Wii Mote (Wii remote control). If you are playing games that require flight simulator such as Blazing Angels and Heatseeker, you might want to get the Wii Airplane Controller that really looks cool.

Nothing beats a fishing rod when it comes to playing the Sega Bass Fishing and Zelda, the mini fishing game. Snooker players behold as when you are becoming a pro in World Snooker Championship, the next thing you need is your own Wii Snooker Cue. You can even use this to play Wii Play, WSC REAL 08 and Pool Party.

If you have a few more dollars to spend, get the Wii Chrome Case to make your Wii stand out in the crowd. Change the look of your Wii with this powerful casing.

When it comes to playing Nintendo Wii, first of all you need to have interest in playing games, any games at all. If you are not a gamer, then Wii sounds useless to you. Of course, you will need to have the money to buy the console and other accessories you want but I can guarantee that you will have a good time playing games on Wii.

Players can select between four different modes: Brain Age Check, Training, Quick Play, and Sudoku. Brain Age supports multi-player mode, and lets 15 players join in the game with one cartridge. This is one game you won’t hear parents complaining their kids were overplaying.

Hey PSP Owners - Here’s How To Use PSP Game Downloads!

without comments

by Dave Freeman

If you have a PSP, you almost certainly have heard that there are ways to download PSP games, movies and other files for your device. This can be a great way to keep your PSP filled with all the latest games, which will keep you endlessly entertained. So if you’re one of these many PSP owners, then you will probably be asking, as have so many others “How do I download PSP games?”.

You have a few options to download psp games - some are risky and others are not. Let’s take a closer look at what I mean.

There are quite a few sites which claim to provide free PSP game downloads. Let the buyer beware, disregard that you are not actually “buying” anything. You get what you pay for, generally and a lot of these sites are riddled with viruses and spyware.

They take the time and effort to test files, since their users are their customers. These sites are generally reputable business operations, and definitely a better bet than any of the “free” sites.

Really, more PSP users should be members of these sites. Usually costing less than just one new PSP game, the membership entitles you to download PSP games, movies, audio and more anytime you want. The best of these also furnish members with the needed software to move these files to their PSP units.

The membership sites charging a one-time fee are your best bet. For as little as $30, you can have a lifetime membership and download anything at any time. There are others that offer monthly fees, or on a per-download basis, but these are not such a good deal.

One of the best features of the PSP is the ability to download games, movies and music instead of having to but them at the stores. Not only will it save you a lot of money in the long-run, but you will als be sure your PSP is fully stocked with the newest games without ever having to make a trip to the store. Happy gaming!
